The incident occurred in the Subhashnagar colony when Venkataiah was consuming a dosa purchased from a local hotel. The food became lodged in his throat, causing him to suffocate and leading to his death at the scene. According to reports, Venkataiah had consumed alcohol prior to eating, which may have contributed to the choking incident. He is survived by his wife and three children, leaving his family devastated by the sudden loss.
